Privacy policy

This page explains what data SMO-FRANCE collects, why, and what your rights are.

1. Data we collect

Account: name, email address, password (stored encrypted, never readable), chosen language and currency.
Orders: chosen service, public link of the profile or post, quantity, amount.
Payments: amount, payment method, transaction reference. Card numbers and Mobile Money codes are entered with the payment provider: we never receive them.
Security: IP address, browser and login dates, to protect your account and prevent fraud.
Support: messages exchanged in tickets.

2. How we use it

This data is used only to provide the service (process and track your orders, credit your top-ups), send you emails about your account, answer support requests and keep the platform secure. News and promotional emails are sent only if you have not unsubscribed; every email contains an unsubscribe link.

3. Sharing

Our service providers receive only the public link and quantity needed for delivery, never your contact details.
Payment providers receive the information needed for the payment.
We never sell or rent your data.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your preferences (language, currency, theme). Analytics and advertising tools (for example Google Analytics or Meta) help us understand site traffic; you can block them in your browser settings.

5. Retention

Account data is kept as long as the account exists. Order and payment history may be kept longer for our accounting obligations. Login logs are kept for a limited time.

6. Security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS), encrypted passwords, two-factor authentication available in “My account”, limited and logged team access.

7. Your rights

You can view and correct your information at any time in “My account”, and request a copy or deletion of your data by opening a ticket or by writing to info@smo-france.com.

8. Mobile app

Notifications: if you allow them, the app stores a device identifier (Firebase Cloud Messaging token), the phone type, the app version and the language, only to send you notifications about your account. This token is deleted when you sign out or delete your account.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics): when an error occurs, the app sends a technical report (phone model and system, app version, error trace) so we can fix problems. It contains neither your name nor your email.
Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics): collected only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app settings.
Profile picture: stored on our servers if you choose one, visible to you and our team; you can remove it at any time.
Firebase services are provided by Google, which hosts this data on our behalf, possibly outside your country.

9. Sign-in with Google, Facebook or Apple

If you use one of these services to sign in, we only receive your name, your email address (or the hidden address provided by Apple) and a technical identifier. We never receive your password.

10. Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Profile > Delete my account), on the website (My account), or without signing in from the page https://smo-france.com/suppression-compte. It explains which data is deleted and which is kept.

11. Changes

This policy may change; the version online is the one that applies.
